SkyWay Transport at 3DEXPERIENCE FORUM 2019

SkyWay Transport at 3DEXPERIENCE FORUM 2019

24 April 2019

On April 18, 2019, 3DEXPERIENCE FORUM 2019 was launched in Skolkovo Technopark (Moscow, Russian Federation) - a key event for the top management of the Russian industrial sector, senior and mid-ranking technical managers. The event was organized by Dassault Systèmes, a leading developer of digital tools and services that ensure effective interaction between production processes and provide monitoring of the entire product life cycle at any stage of its creation and operation.

The agenda of the event is the search for new infrastructure solutions for aerospace, automotive, engineering, mining, nuclear and oil/gas industries, development of alternative methods of interaction, training and production, digitalization of the Russian economy and industry.

One of the speakers at 3DEXPERIENCE FORUM 2019 was Alexey Voilenko, Deputy General Director for organizational development, SkyWay Technologies Co., who shared in his report with other forum participants the experience of introducing advanced digital technologies in the context of developing and building innovative SkyWay transport complexes.

In particular, he spoke about the use of SkyWay technology by the company-developer, which allowed to combine all the development, designing and production tools into a single digital environment. This decision not only accelerated the interaction between structural units of the company, but also significantly improved the quality of collaboration. In addition, the platform has greatly reduced the time spent on the implementation of specific projects due to the possibility to make operational decisions at any stage of their creation, reducing development time by managing data in real time and the availability of electronic document flow.

The implementation of the platform is one of the steps needed for scaling up a venture project into the global corporation. As Aleksey Voilenko noted in his speech, today the developer-company sets a goal not only to correspond to the level of technical safety and technological development of global companies, but also to exceed substantially the bar set by industry leaders in a short time.

Let us recall that in order to improve competitiveness and ensure the creation of products relevant to modern standards, the management of SkyWay project designing company decided in January 2018 to transfer the process of development, production and operation of transport complexes onto an integrated digital platform. The supplier of such technologies at the current stage is the French company Dassault Systèmes, the developer of 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

The new industry assumes maximum computerization of the entire production chain, and its main principles are collection of the full amount of data, intelligent technical support, partial transfer of management decisions to electronic systems and the use of the Internet of things.
