Completion of the String Technologies Rebranding

Completion of the String Technologies Rebranding

18 November 2021

Many RSW Systems investors periodically have questions related to the change in the names of the technology, the developer company, etc. We have repeatedly – both on webinars and on these pages – touched on this topic, but the fresh publication of the original source, which we only briefly retell, puts all dots above the “i”:

Return to the roots. The Belarusian engineering company Unitsky String Technologies Inc. has declared the completion of the rebranding

Unitsky String Technologies Inc. (UST Inc.) has announced the completion of the rebranding, which began in 2020, the main reasons for which were a new stage in the development of string technologies and the company's entry into the world market, as well as a return to terminological and technological origins. The company's new brand in English is Unitsky String Technologies, Inc. (until 2020 – SkyWay Technologies Co.). It combines both the original name of the technology and the surname of its author. By the way, all this was provided for in the charter of SkyWay Technologies Co. back in 2015 when the company was founded.

New stage of development

In 2020, Unitsky String Technologies Inc. completed the main part of research and development work on the creation of urban passenger transport and infrastructure complexes, having received the first market product, ready for mass adoption. which was confirmed by the certification of the complex and its key elements for compliance with safety requirements, conducted by TUV SW (Certification & Standardization) at the uSky Innovation Center in the UAE (Sharjah). In other words, the company's transition from the "start-up" to the "business" stage has taken place.

“The brand change is largely related to the output of the string transport developer company to a new stage of development, when it had a full-fledged market product in the field of mobility at its disposal. Prior to that, the company had been at the stage of a venture project for several years, which was the main reason for bringing the SkyWay investment brand to the forefront,” commented the rebranding General designer and founder of Unitsky String Technologies Inc. Anatoli Unitsky”.
