About all Tracks at EcoTechnoPark

01 July 2022

Dear fellow-thinkers, the developer of string technologies has published an article about the current situation at EcoTechnoPark, or rather, about the track structure and its types presented there. The string-rail overpass is a key element of the string transport and infrastructure complex. Thanks to its design, traffic jams and accidents do not threaten the rolling stock, and the string road does not occupy large areas. There are several types of track structures. All of them are presented on the territory of EcoTechnoPark in Belarus and each has its own characteristics, but in principle a string-rail track is a light, strong, and durable transport overpass.

“If necessary, fiber-optic communication lines, power lines and product pipelines are placed in the track structure. Its design is based on prestressed string elements that are stretched between two massive anchor supports. In the spaces between them, the string rails are supported by light intermediate supports. A building combined with stations, shopping centres, residential and industrial premises can act as an anchor support. Wind and solar power plants can be placed on the supports as well”.

EcoTechnoPark presents five different string-rail overpasses: flexible, ultra-light, rigid, semi-rigid and specialized cargo. Each is designed to test the operation of transport in various conditions, having different tension parameters and material consumption depending on the purpose, traffic intensity of the rolling stock and its types. The speed of traffic on the tracks is from 50 to 150 km/h.

The main types of rolling stock, both cargo and passenger, can move along all of the above track structures, and all of them are characterized by such advantages as: durability, smoothness of the track, low material consumption, and the ability to be used in extreme temperatures. Due to the small diameter of the string rail and its location above the ground, aerodynamics is optimized, the speed of traffic increases and a high level of safety of the transport complex as a whole is ensured.

We offer you to learn more about each track for testing string transport from the original source.
