Friends, the popular science magazine “TechInsider” has recently published an overview of disasters caused by all sorts of shortcomings in the operation of traditional modes of transport. For RSW Systems investors, it is of particular interest that the article details the solution to the problem of accidents that string transport offers.
Existing modes of transport – airplanes, trains, cars – cannot guarantee zero accident risk since they were invented a very long time ago. People need a new mode of transport that is safe and efficient, and many companies have promising ideas. One of the areas is new types of overpass transport, and in several countries the corresponding systems are already being developed. The string technologies company seems to be the furthest along in this direction.
Often, the human factor leads to transport accidents: errors or well-being of drivers, machinists, pilots, and dispatchers, as well as violation of safety rules by passengers. Accidents also occur due to the technical condition of transport, damage to the road surface, weather.
The transfer of transport to the “second” tier can reduce risks and eliminate emergency situations. String transport and infrastructure complexes are distinguished by a high level of security largely due to this feature. Unmanned rolling stock moves above the ground on a special string rail overpass. The work of the driver here is performed by automated control systems, and with the help of technical vision, the transport can control the route, respond to any obstacles, and even take measures to prevent dangerous situations in the cabin. At the same time, the string track is durable and resistant to floods, earthquakes, and many other types of impact. Additional safety is provided by the anti-derailment system, which prevents the rolling stock from derailing, overturning, and falling.
