Construction of the uST passenger complex has begun at the Sosny sanatorium

Construction of a uST Passenger Transport and Infrastructure Complex has begun at the Sosny Sanatorium (Republic of Belarus). The progress of works at the site was inspected by the CEO of UST Inc., Nadezhda Kosareva.

The project provides for the creation of a single-track line that will connect the residential building of the sanatorium with a new SPA complex. The route will run through a pine forest and become part of the recreational infrastructure, ensuring convenient and environmentally friendly transportation for the resort’s guests.

The construction of a transport complex at the Sosny Sanatorium is an important step for our company. It demonstrates the transition to real-world operation of our technologies in a recreational environment, where safety and environmental requirements are especially high. By implementing this project, we show that modern transport can organically complement the natural landscape, making leisure infrastructure more accessible and comfortable,

the CEO noted.

At the current stage, preparation of areas for the construction of uST complex stations intended for passenger boarding and alighting is underway at the site. The project will be implemented step by step and includes the following key stages:

  • construction of foundations and installation of load-bearing metal structures;
  • installation of the track system with laying of power and low-current networks;
  • installation of communication and control systems;
  • installation of the rail-based unmanned vehicle on the track structure;
  • execution of façade works;
  • commissioning and testing activities;
  • commissioning of the complex into operation.

A specialized rail-based unmanned vehicle is being developed for the Sosny Sanatorium, designed to carry up to 15 passengers, including six comfortable seated places. Operation will be fully automated. The transport will ensure a quiet, environmentally friendly, and comfortable journey, including for people with limited mobility, and will become part of a modern resort infrastructure.
