Safety of SkyWay transport systems

Safety of SkyWay transport systems

27 August 2019

The concept of “safety” in the context of transport technologies includes many aspects, the key of which are active, passive, post-accidental and environmental safety of the vehicle.  Despite the fact that SkyWay technology is a fundamentally new mode of transport, these categories can be used to assess its safety features.

After all, the extent to which transport is “loyal” to humans and the environment determines its market prospects. And here the developers of string transport systems are at the forefront, because SkyWay design features coupled with advanced developments allow them to establish an unprecedented level of safety in the field of passenger and cargo transportation, which is unattainable for other players in the transport market.

You will learn from our new presentation video exactly what solutions provide the highest standards of safety in SkyWay transport and infrastructure complexes.

Great info. Everything is quite clearly described: the mechanisms, one of (as I understand it) the possible evacuation methods. Thank you very much for mentioning primary sources to facts that was shown.

The security system is deeply elaborate obviously, however I always wonder what about resistance of the vehicles to strong sidewind. We know that the vehicles designed by skyway have very low aerodynamic coeficient from the front, but I'm curious how will the strong side wind affect the vehicles and light truck structure for example. This could be very significant in tropicals climate zones, where a strong storms could occure. I think side wind could create significant torque on light truck structure, and I miss an information little bit, how will skyway vehicles deal with it.
