The 1st Glimpse of Carat

We are getting used to ever increasing number of the uSky Test & Certification Centre visitors, but this time, when it has welcomed a large delegation from El Salvador, there have been some new developments.

The delegation has been headed by the President of the Lempa River Hydroelectric Executive Commission, Mr. Daniel Alejandro Álvarez Campos.

As usual, the delegates have visited the uSky passenger station, taken a test ride in a safe and certified tropical uCar, familiarized themselves with the control room software and hardware complex, had the opportunity to start the rolling stock on the track, seen uFlash and uCont…

But the main purpose of the meeting has been to present uSky Transport, demonstrating the possibility of implementing transport solutions in El Salvador. The presentation has covered such proposals as:

- connecting El Salvador International Airport with Plaza Los Cocos,

- connecting El Salvador International Airport with San Salvador,

- connecting the sea Port of Acajutla with an inland container terminal.

And this is not all, as a larger-scale implementation of transport lines is feasible even throughout the entire mainland:

- construction of a public transport line in El Salvador,

- connecting the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans,

- construction of Pan-Continental – American high-speed transport line.

And finally: a new uPod Carat has been revealed at the presentation featuring a passenger capacity of 16 pax, an intelligent security system, and an integrated multimedia system.
