Everything You Wanted to Know about the Tropical Unicar

17 May 2021

According to some historical evidence, Abraham Lincoln once said: "Give me 6 hours to cut down a tree and I will spend 4 hours sharpening an axe". Today's Unitsky String Technologies, Inc. achievements have become possible due to the extensive scientific base built by the author and general designer of string transport for decades, starting in 1977. During this time, full-fledged scientific, design and engineering schools have been created.

A team of top-level specialists, created by Anatoli Unitsky, possesses unique knowledge and experience, a deeply developed system of scientific and engineering views and methods that serve as the basis for string technologies, as well as for a new sector of the economy that will be formed as a result of the launch of the developer's products on the market.

Of course, today this team is one of the most valuable assets of our project, as evidenced by Anatoli Unitsky himself: “We have created the brains and muscles of string technology in Belarus. Its scientific, engineering, manufacturing demonstration/certification components […] I can proudly say that for a very short period of time I have managed to create the most powerful engineering school in Belarus from scratch”.

An article by Anatoli Unitsky “Design Features of a Tropical Unicar for Urban Passenger Transport” was published in the 1st issue of the “Innovative Transport” journal in 2021. The co-authors of the general designer were Viktor Garakh, Andrey Zaitsev and Mikhail Tsyrlin. This work examines the structure of the main units of the unicar and its advantages over the basic model.

For reference: "Innovative Transport" was created to popularize knowledge and achievements in the transport sector. The journal publishes reviews of the most important events in the industry in terms of its innovative development. The founders of the publication are: the Russian Academy of Transport and the Ural State University of Railway Transport.
