On June 27, 2019, Skyway crypto platform began its operation. In the future it should provide an effective interaction of all elements in string transport and infrastructure complexes on the basis of the multifunctional payment and information unit - SkyWay token (SWG).
The platform is functioning normally starting from July 1, 2019, after the end of beta-testing period. Skyway investors, who previously converted part of their own investment portfolio into Skyway tokens within the framework of a special promotion campaign, received a new financial asset at their disposal.
Naturally, the introduction of a new financial instrument has caused a lot of questions on the part of the investors’ community regarding the specific nature of its operation. We have collected a pool of answers to the most pressing questions from users.
Where can I see my e-wallet balance?
Tokens accrued to investors for the conversion of investment shares are on the Keeper holding contract. This smart contract contains individual balances with data on the number of tokens each investor owns.
Your balance of tokens available for you to write off in the future, can be viewed through the “Keeper” section in your personal account, or through the block-explorer application.
Why do you need to “freeze” tokens?
In order to ensure that tokens of all holders do not appear on the market at the same time and do not have a negative impact on the exchange rate, the developers have implemented a mechanism for their uniform partial defreezing on the holding smart contract - Keeper.
For investors who took part in the exchange program, it will be possible to receive tokens at their e-wallet starting from the date of their partial unblocking - on July 1, 2020, and the full amount of tokens can be withdrawn starting from July 1, 2021. All operations with tokens will be carried out through the personal account of the SkyWay Global platform.
When will it be possible to trade tokens?
Tokens will gradually “defreeze” starting from July 1, 2020. It will be possible to write off all tokens in full not earlier than July 1, 2021. Viewing the number of tokens available for writing off is carried out through the Keeper Dapp section in the personal account, or through the Etherscan block Explorer (WriteContract -> withdraw method). After receiving tokens from the holding contract, your wallet will be able to “see” the balance of tokens, and the user will get the opportunity to carry out all operations on their transactions, including trading at specialized platforms.
Why is the token price so low?
The current rate of the SWT token for July 2019 is the starting value, which will change as far as the tokens are placed on stock exchanges and SkyWay project develops as a whole. Free turnover of tokens on trading platforms during the implementation of Skyway transport and infrastructure projects will ensure their capitalization and, accordingly, the growth of market value.
Among other things, token holders will receive a preferential opportunity to participate in new investment projects with a certain discount when entering, which will guarantee an increase in the amount of dividends relatively to the volume of investment compared to other participants.
On which stock exchange will tokens be traded and when?
Tokens are blocked until July 1, 2020. Starting from that date, users will be able to partially write them off from the holding contract and exchange them both on centralized stock exchanges (their list will be updated as they are listed) and on decentralized stock exchanges.
Is it possible to operate in the SWG personal account from a mobile phone?
At the moment, operation with the crypto platform is supported in Google Chrome and Firefox browsers with an installed Metamask wallet plugin only on personal computers. Support for mobile browsers Brave and Opera for IOS and Android operating systems will be added by developers soon.
I did not have time to exchange investment shares for tokens. Do you plan to extend the exchange promotion campaign?
In the near future, new promotion campaigns on the exchange of investment shares for tokens are not planned, but this possibility is not excluded in the future.
I have no button to register on SWG website in my personal account of SkyWay (RSW, SWC, SWIG) investor.
You need to pass over to the website account.swg.io and enter your email specified during registration in the personal account of SkyWay investor, in which the investment shares were previously exchanged for tokens. The system will automatically redirect you to the password page to create a new account on the swg.io platform.
Can I use one computer to work with several accounts on SWG crypto platform?
The Metamask plugin has a function to create a new account (address) without using a new secret phrase. You can create a new address in Metamask, select it as the primary one and log in - the new address will be displayed in the field of the authorization form. In this case, access to both accounts can be restored using one secret phrase that was created when the first account was registered.
If you want to create two separate accounts, you can remove Metamask from browser plugins and pass through the procedure of creating and saving a secret phrase again, or use an alternative browser with the installed Metamask (for example, the first - Google Chrome, the second - Mozilla Firefox). In this case, the created accounts will be completely independent from each other.
I didn’t upload Metamask because I had an existing blockchain wallet and I entered its number. No difference?
You can use an existing cryptographic wallet, provided that it supports the ability to call transactions to contracts. If you have a private key or a secret phrase to the address you entered, you can then enter it into the wallet that supports such calls and get access to your funds.
While changing my password, I received an email for confirmation, but when I click on the link from the email, I get to the SWG platform authorization page.
Try again to click the “Sign up” button page https://account.swg.io/auth/login. A follow-up letter with reference to password change should come to your email. If this does not help - please contact technical support on the website.
