SkyWay and markets are looking for each other

Deputy Director for development of the project designing SkyWay Technologies Co. Victor Baburin has completed his business trip to Indonesia. The visit was timed to the International exhibition & conference on railway technologies RailwayTech 2017. He was heading a working group consisting of Company’s engineers and professionals in public relations that participated in the forum and presented SW string transport to the business community and government agencies in the region. Negotiations with several potential partners have been conducted.
“For the Company, this trip was the first meeting with the Indonesian market and our main objective was to explore it, to find the required launching ground, from which we could move on,” commented on the business trip Victor Baburin. “I would say we managed to do it. During the conference, we talked to many people, who can be called “required”. They include the Advisor to the Minister of Energy, the Head of Indonesia’s Rail Transport Association, the Head of the working group on the development of territories under the National Development Committee, representatives of several consulting and business Companies in charge of infrastructure development.
In fact, the impression from us turned out to be correct: a cooperation agreement with railwaymen (Indonesia’s Rail Transport Association – E. P.) is being prepared for signing, we have started working out the agreement for SW application on one of the Islands. There are lots of challenges in this region, since the country really needs our technology: dense population, bad roads, poor communication between Islands, gas-polluted air ― 10 million people and 12 million vehicles in Jakarta. The immediate tasks to point out are arranging cooperation with local partners and involving consultants to work out a roadmap for certification of our transport, determining targeted projects and attracting funds.”
Indonesia is a new and important but not the only direction for SW development. Victor Baburin is currently on another business trip to Togo, where, as a representative of our project design Company, he arrived at the invitation of the Transport Ministry of this African Republic.
