Senegal government representative visits uSky Transport

05 May 2024

Senegal, like many other developing countries, faces serious transport challenges. Congestion, air pollution, and lack of efficient and accessible transportation: they threaten economic development and quality of life of local communities. However, in an era of innovation and technological advancement, solutions can be more creative and effective than ever before. One such innovation is uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology, which is a second-level urban transport system with the potential to significantly improve transport infrastructure and mobility in Senegal.

uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology is an innovative approach to transportation that can solve many of the problems Senegal faces:

Accessibility of remote areas: uSky Transport & Infrastructure Solutions can be the key to providing access to remote areas without current good road infrastructure, and ensure equal access to services and development opportunities.

Environmentally friendly and clean: Unmanned innovative electric uPods will help reduce emissions of harmful substances into atmosphere and improve air quality in cities.

Improved mobility: Second-level transport routes will offer faster and straighter routes, which will increase mobility and stimulate economic activity.

Innovative tropical 25-seater uBus Carat left a lasting impression on Mr Ndiouga Diop. This self-driving electric rail vehicle on steel wheels is designed for transportation on urban and suburban routes in arid climates. It is adapted to high temperatures and humidity. High-capacity automatic climate control system maintains comfortable temperature for passengers in cabin even at +55°C outside. That is how, despite the hot day, delegates enjoyed a cozy and exciting test ride.
