String Transport Technology for Passenger and Cargo Mobility off the Ground

String Transport Technology for Passenger and Cargo Mobility off the Ground

16 May 2022

The project’s Middle East “showcase” tells us of some string transport and infrastructure technology’s innovations, which have already impressed various guests from all around the world.

These solutions are based on the patented string rail and overpass technologies. The complex requires a minimum land uptake for construction and can be easily adapted to perform any logistics tasks in the field of urban (speed up to 150 km/h) and intercity (speed up to 500 km/h) passenger and passenger-and-freight transportation, as well as freight traffic at speeds up to 150 km/h.

Major load bearing members of the technology are Anchor Supports, which assume the horizontal load from the tensioned string rails of up to 100–1,000 tf, and Intermediate Supports, lightweight structures that absorb the vertical load and provide stability.

String transport and infrastructure solutions feature several standout benefits in the spheres of safety, advanced mobility, eco-friendliness and adaptability.

The key elements of string transport solutions are the innovative string rail and steel wheel. Track structure design follows the design of a suspension bridge combining all its main elements.

At the end of the article the author reminds us that delegates from countries such as Rwanda, the Kingdom of Lesotho, Colombia, Brazil and many others have already highly rated the innovative and safe string transport and infrastructure technology.
