Name List of People Who Contributed to SkyWay EcoTechnoPark Construction

04 September 2017

On July 1 in the center of practical implementation of SkyWay innovations EcoTechnoPark there was held a formal opening of the Museum reflecting the history of creating the breakthrough transport technology. More than 40 years of research and developments are presented by documents, models, photographs and engineering sketches of SkyWay transport routes. A name list of dozens of thousands of people who contributed to the project took a special place in the exposition. Inscriptions of different size located on the ceiling above the heads of Museum visitors are illuminated from the inside and resemble a starry sky in their combination. The concept of the artwork belongs to the author and General designer of SkyWay transport Anatoly Yunitskiy.

“The idea was born largely from the contraries, ― says Anatoly. ― The task was to capture the names. At the same time, I wanted to avoid wrong interpretations and associations. I did not want to make it as something resembling the inscriptions on a mass grave or something like that. The solution came by itself. A starry sky, outer space are the horizon that at all times fascinated man, attracted, forced to make scientific discoveries and was embodied in technological breakthroughs. The people whose names we have inscribed on the ceiling of the Museum, have immortalized themselves on the sky of daring and achievements of the human spirit with their contribution to the SkyWay project. This is the main message behind this composition”.

The list included names from the register of project investors as on the date of April 16, 2017 possessing more than 1,000 investment shares. According to the creators, this does not diminish the importance of the contribution made by people with less than 1,000 shares, but is determined by the very concept of the artwork. “You can see only the brightest stars on the horizon. However, it does not mean that the stars, which are not visible, do not exist or do not matter. Everything is interconnected in the universe, and even the smallest grain of sand has a universal value.”

In total, 404 panels made of composite materials are located on the ceiling of the Museum. The masterpiece is unique not only aesthetically, but also from a technological point of view.

As a reminder, all names in SkyWay Museum are recorded based on the data provided by investors themselves.
