InnoTrans 2020: the future of transport mobility

InnoTrans 2020: the future of transport mobility

29 January 2020

From 22 to 25 September 2020, Berlin will host the XIII International specialized exhibition InnoTrans 2020 focusing on innovations and transport technologies. The event will traditionally bring together hundreds of exhibitors and experts from various countries of the world, demonstrate the latest equipment samples and determine the vectors of further development in the transport sector.

One of the participants of the upcoming exhibition will be the Company developing Skyway string transport systems, which intends to once again demonstrate to the general public an innovative approach to the arrangement of transport infrastructure. It is planned to showcase at the SkyWay stand new models of rolling stock, as well as other developments in the field of cargo and passenger transportation.

SkyWay developments correlate with the main InnoTrans trends that have emerged over the past few years — intermodality, digitalization, automation and focus on customer. Unlike other players in the global transport market, who mostly rely upon the modernization of existing solutions, SkyWay offers a conceptually new approach that allows to arrange transportation of passengers and cargo as efficiently and safely as possible.

Let us remind that InnoTrans 2020 will be the third exhibition in which SkyWay project designing organization will take part. The debut presentation of industrial models of rolling stock of the 4th generation string transport systems — Unibus U4-210 and Unibike U4-621 — was held at InnoTrans 2016 exhibition, and in 2018, the developer Company demonstrated high-speed Unibus U4-362 capable of servicing passengers at speeds up to 500 km/h with minimal energy consumption.
