The Question of Energy Efficiency is No Longer a Question!

The Question of Energy Efficiency is No Longer a Question!

23 February 2022

The developer of string technologies is constantly working to improve its transport and infrastructure complexes. Tests are carried out regularly, and now the company's specialists plan to develop a rail head with high electrical conductivity, which will facilitate the transfer of energy to the vehicle. Accordingly, transport will become even more energy efficient.

This technology has no analogues in the world!

The smoothness of the ride, the noise level and the safety of the vehicle depend on the quality of the rail head assembly, so engineers are constantly working to improve it and experiment with conductive materials.

Before the power is applied, for safety reasons, everyone leaves the room. During the tests, the following parameters are measured: current strength, voltage drop and sample temperature. The heating of the rail head means that the energy is not only used for its intended purpose but is simply released into the environment. The task of the engineers is to direct it “in a peaceful direction”, i. e., to make sure that the energy is directed to the maximum possible for the operation of transport.

The uniqueness of the string-rail transport technology lies – in particular – in the transfer of energy to the vehicle through the right and left rail, due to which there is no need for a third one, similar to how it is done in the subway. An overpass design does not require grounding, and also eliminates pollution, accidental contact with pedestrians and other vehicles.

The railhead samples that have successfully passed the tests will soon be used to build a track structure at the string transport innovation centre located in Sharjah, UAE.

Details are in the report from EcoTechnoPark of the developer company.
