Effective Even at +50°C!

All RSW Systems investors, who are – we hope – aware that the project has two test sites in very different climatic zones, should be aware that extreme temperatures are not harmful not only for string transport, but also for its passengers. People in the cabin are unlikely to feel discomfort due to severe frost or sweltering heat overboard. All thanks to the unique development of the company: a microclimate system that automatically regulates the temperature inside the vehicle. The company's engineers spoke about its features in an official report.

String rolling stock is equipped with a vapour-compression type microclimate system. Regardless of the weather, a special on-board device not only automatically regulates the temperature in the cabin, but also creates a favourable climate for passengers. The system is equipped with an air filtration device and modern electric self-regulating heaters. The pre-trip option allows you to warm up or cool down the cabin before transporting passengers.

The system also automatically adjusts the intensity of air exchange in the cabin, based on the readings of the carbon dioxide sensor. A certain volume of fresh air is continuously supplied to the cabin to maintain an acceptable level of carbon dioxide exhaled by passengers. The more passengers in the cabin, the more fresh air will be supplied.

This approach saves energy, which, combined with other advantages of string transport, ensures low operating costs for the transport and infrastructure complex. Another advantage: unlike its space-consuming "relatives" used in public transport, the microclimate system is very compact.

Another of its tasks is not only to maintain a comfortable environment for passengers, but also to cool electronics, batteries, and individual elements of the traction system. By the way, condensate from air conditioners from cars and buildings is usually poured out. However, the goal of the project is the creation and implementation of technology thought out to the smallest detail. Condensate from the string transport microclimate system is accumulated in special containers and then disposed of in specially designated areas.

To summarize: a comfortable climate for passengers is provided by the whole system created by the project specialists. This is just one of many examples of the company's own developments. This is what makes string transport truly special in many ways.
