A delegation of Australian transport experts headed by Mr. Rod Hook, CEO of Rod Hook and Associates (RHA) will pay a visit to the SkyWay Technologies Co. (city of Minsk) from September 8 to 11. Our company will become within these days a platform for the creation of a joint strategy for the introduction of SkyWay technologies in Australia.

During the visit, the experts will come to see all the three floors of our company and the workshop, they will meet and hold talks with the management, chief engineers and designers of the company. They will also pay a visit to the SkyWay EcoTechnoPark in the town of Mariyna Gorka to review the process and plans of the construction, our work team and construction equipment.

The result of the negotiations will be a detailed roadmap for the implementation of the SkyWay project and the beginning of joint activities of partners on the territory of Australia.

The SkyWay team greatly appreciates the visit of such high-level professionals and is confident that partnership relations with Mr. Hook will have a major effect on the implementation of the entire SkyWay project in general.

Rod Hook is a highly respected and experienced leader having been involved in initiating and delivering outcomes in a wide range of sectors including infrastructure, transport, planning, environment and property services. Up until recently he was responsible for the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure leading 3,500 staff and held the positions of South Australia’s Commissioner of Highways, the State’s Rail Commissioner and the State’s Coordinator-General.

He is best known for his leadership roles in successfully delivering the following infrastructure that has changed the way people live, work and do business in South Australia:

  • Major redevelopment and renewal projects including Holdfast Shores Redevelopment, West Beach Boat Harbour, Adelaide Convention Centre Redevelopments and the Riverbank Footbridge.
  • Major elite sporting facilities including the State Aquatic and Leisure Centre and the Adelaide Oval Stadium Redevelopment.
  • Adelaide’s public transport revolution including upgrades to Adelaide major rail corridors, electrification of the Seaford line, extension of Adelaide’s light rail network, acquisition of new trains, trams and buses and installation of bus lanes.
  • Adelaide’s major transport projects including the Port River Expressway bridges, the upgrade of LeFevre Peninsula rail freight corridor, the Bakewell Bridge replacement, North-South road corridor works such as the Superway and the Gallipoli Underpass, the Southern Expressway and the Britannia Roundabout redevelopment.
  • Economic infrastructure delivered in partnership with the private sector including the deepening of the shipping channel and grain terminal developments at Outer Harbor.
  • Green infrastructure including Aquifer Storage and Recovery and Waste Water Re-use schemes and development of coastal and national parks.
