Delegation of the Leading Telecommunication Company of Belarus at EcoTechnoPark

Delegation of the Leading Telecommunication Company of Belarus at EcoTechnoPark

20 Junе 2022

Dear colleagues, we cannot but rejoice that, in addition to international recognition, the achievements of the creator of string technologies are also appreciated in his homeland: according to the official website of the project, employees of the Republican Unitary Telecommunication Enterprise Beltelecom have recently visited EcoTechnoPark. The guests have been shown a string-rail overpass, rolling stock, a station and a museum of string transport.

The delegation has consisted of more than 50 people. The guests have got acquainted with the capabilities of string transport infrastructure complexes in passenger and cargo versions, and learned about the history of the creation and development of EcoTechnoPark. The members of the delegation have also learned how string transport in cities would reduce the density of traffic and unload roads, relieving people of traffic jams: a significant part of passenger and cargo traffic will move to the “second level” thanks to the use of a string-rail overpass, and the speed of the rolling stock movement can reach up to 150 km/h. And unimobiles operate on the cleanest type of fuel – electricity, consuming much less of it compared to electric vehicles. At the same time, the string track does not disturb the terrain, it preserves the landscape and biodiversity of the surrounding area due to minimal land acquisition.

Members of the delegation have shown a keen interest in string transport and infrastructure solutions having asked many questions about the capabilities of the technology, and they have kept photographing elements of the complex. Surprisingly, some of the visitors have admitted that they had not even imagined that such technologies exist in Belarus.
