String Transport Systems: on Earth and in Space — Release 4

String Transport Systems: on Earth and in Space — Release 4

18 April 2018

Another film from the series “String transport systems: on Earth and in Space”, in which we talk about the scientific monograph of the scientist and inventor Anatoly Yunitskiy.

The scientific book by Anatoly Yunitskiy Illustrated in a series of films was first published in 1995, however, the work on the book started not later than in 1977, when the author filed the first application for obtaining an author’s certificate for string transport systems. The second edition of the monograph was published in 2017.

The advantages of string transport systems substantiated in the book not only remain actual today, but also become even more significant due to permanent systematic deterioration of the ecological and transport situation on the planet. Within the framework of the concept of string transportation systems, Anatoly Yunitskiy proposed a comprehensive solution for existing and future problems, worked out from engineering and scientific points of view. The implementation of the ideas set out in the book, became a matter of the author’s life, to which he devoted more than 40 years of work and on which he continues to work successfully today.

The reedition of the monograph in 2017 and the series of films offered to your attention contain hand-made illustrations made in the pre-digital era, in various periods of work on the concept and implementation of string transport systems.

The second chapter describes the rolling stock, SkyWay construction technology and provides a technical and economic comparison of various transportation systems.
