SkyWay in Indonesia: Brief Summary

The first and successful visit of SkyWay to Indonesia is coming to an end. The interest among the professional community and ordinary visitors was aroused by the presentation of the technology at the International exhibition & conference for railway technologies RailwayTech 2017 that took place from 29 March to 1 April in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. Our Company is consolidating the success of the presentation at InnoTrans 2016 in Germany followed by increasing interest to SkyWay in Australia, India and the Gulf countries.
SkyWay Deputy General Director for development Victor Baburin shared briefly his impressions on the main results of the visit, – “The attention to us was paid at the highest level: at the instruction of the Minister our display stand was attended by the Minister’s Advisor on power industry and resources of Indonesia. A consortium of companies for the development of one of the Islands proposed us to become its participant and contribute to the transportation development of the island, which could become in the future an excellent platform for a full-scale entry to the market of the whole country. The Head of Indonesia’s Railway Association suggested to develop a proposal for the country. We are planning to deal with it closely on our return.
Traditionally, everything has passed in a very peaceful and friendly atmosphere; it is a complete professional and human pleasure to work under such conditions. The high level of the exhibition arrangement has left a very pleasant impression.”
