Aftermath to “Transport of Russia”: Consumers Are in Favor of SkyWay

15 February 2018

“The prototype of unicar from SkyWay Company (Yunitskiy’s string transport) is actively debated after one of the major events in the transport sector ― the annual exhibition “Transport of Russia.” This is reported at the website (in Russian) of the Сonsumer protection Agency “Public control”. According to the author of the publication, the agreement on complex cooperation with MIIT signed at the exhibition, along with other facts, testify to the emergence of a new serious player in the transport market. Also, with reference to Valery Yesov, the article reports about the interest to SkyWay technology on the part of another scientific and technological center of Russia ― Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

The attention of “Public control” to SkyWay technology is a remarkable but natural phenomenon. According to its Charter, the purpose of the organization is “promoting protection of consumers’ rights to purchase goods (works, services) of adequate quality, to get safety of their life and health, to obtain information about goods (works, services) and their manufacturers (performers, sellers), to educate consumers and protect their interests.” In many respects, such objectives correspond to the goals of SkyWay project, the implementation and scaling of which significantly increase the level of comfort and safety of transport services provided to consumers around the world. “The transition to Yunitskiy’s Skyway transport will minimize the risk of accidents on the roads, as well as significantly improve the quality of life in cities by reducing the level of emissions into the air,”― notes the author of the article.

As a reminder, soon after the signing of the cooperation agreement with MIIT, a positive conclusion on the preliminary assessment of the SkyWay development prospects conducted by the University specialists was published. The conclusion was the first result of interaction between the organizations. It further strengthened the position of SkyWay transport in academic and professional circles, as well as became one more trump card to promote the technology in the market.
