Energy Expo 2016: interview with the Ambassador of Japan at SkyWay display stand

Energy Expo 2016: interview with the Ambassador of Japan at SkyWay display stand

13 October 2016

Apparently, the Japanese are not superstitious people. This may explain the fact that the visit of the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Belarus Mr. Hiroki Tokunaga to the display stand of the SkyWay Technologies Co., taking part in the XXI Belarusian energy and ecology forum, was scheduled on October 13. The presentation of the exposition to the high-ranking foreign guest was carried out by the General director–General designer of the company Anatoly Yunitskiy. Let us recall that the SkyWay stand includes commercial samples of a unibike and a unibus, a functioning model of the track structure and a security module of the SkyWay intelligent string fencing.

In subsequent negotiations Mr. Tokunaga expressed his admiration of our domestic developments, not failing to mention the achievements of the country of the rising sun not only in the creation of high-speed railways (that the SkyWay creator also mentioned), but also in the innovative designs for urban transport. The Ambassador of Japan stressed the necessity of cooperation between the two countries. With the aim of finding the optimal partner companies Mr. Tokunaga suggested Anatoly Yunitskiy to take part in the Moscow business forum that will be held in early 2017 under the patronage of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to the Russian Federation Mr. Toyohisa Kozuki.

After the presentation of the project in the capital of the Russian Federation, it is already planned to continue cooperation at a similar event that will be organized in Minsk in April next year with the support of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Japan Mr. Sergey Rakhmanov, elected recently a member of the Council of the Republic.
