String Transport Will Become Even More Comfortable and Reliable

String Transport Will Become Even More Comfortable and Reliable

03 February 2022

Following the declared principles of openness and transparency, the developer company continues to talk about the details of its work, at the same time, without disclosing its know-how. So, a team of design engineers chaired by General Designer Anatoli Unitsky has recently discussed the safety issues of the overpass of the string transport and infrastructure complex.

Among others, issues related to the safety of the string-rail overpass elements, in particular, the rail head (raceway), have been dealt with. The low noise level, smooth running and safety of the vehicle depend on the quality of its assembly. The solution of the problem that the design team is working on will make string transport even more comfortable and safe for passengers, and for this it is necessary that it move along a solid raceway, without joints on the rails.

All RSW Systems investors are aware of the green orientation of the project, and this applies not only to the rolling stock, but also to the track structure. The raceway is electrified, and the current is collected through the wheel, resulting in reduced costs and increased efficiency, which is reflected in the environmental friendliness of transport: less energy is consumed, the production of which often negatively affects the environment.

You can learn about how the conductivity of materials for the rail head was tested, what characteristic of the supporter affects its life, i. e. how often it needs to be changed, and much more from the report “Unitsky String Technologies Inc. Held a Technical Meeting on Safety of the Track Structures of the Transport Complex” on the developer's resources.
