The Sharjah Future String Transport Station in a Final Graduation Project

The Sharjah Future String Transport Station in a Final Graduation Project

04 May 2022

Dear colleagues, from our numerous publications you must know that string transport continuously and actively develops cooperation with educational institutions. Earlier, the project has already shared its experience and background with students from the Master of Global Business class and Global MBA student groups from SP Jain School of Global Management, Dubai, and the University of Tunis Carthage, the Republic of Tunisia. And recently one of the developer’s engineers has been invited to take a part in the final graduation projects jury comprised of highly qualified professors and academics who were to evaluate the final projects of students in the Interior Architecture and Design program at The College of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Sharjah.

The College strives to provide students with outstanding education and knowledge in the field of fine arts and design while adhering to the highest standards of pedagogy and production in such areas as fine arts, interior architecture, graphics and multimedia, and fashion design. Ms. Nadia Rashid Al Badri, Lecturer, B.Sc. Architectural Engineering and M.Sc. Sustainable Design Building Environment, had approached the string transport administration with a request to use one of its future station developments as a student’s Mohamed Ameerudheen’s graduation project for the 2021–2022 academic year.

All the jury members including the representative of string technologies highly appreciated the level of elaboration of the graduation project “The Sharjah Future Sky Pod Station”. Dr. Nadia M. Alhasani expressed her gratitude to the string transport administration for the involvement and expressed her hope for further cooperation in the scientific field.
