The management company "Transnet Group" is a research and investment organization specializing in financing, promotion and implementation of innovative technologies in the field of transport, logistics and communications. The main problem of modern towns and metropolises are the lack of low-cost ecological transport, increasing net cost of travel and operation, growing problem of traffic jams, high accident rate, deterioration of the environment. Solution of such problems is the purpose of all projects of the group of companies. The geography of the group's work is very broad: different regions and cities both in Russia and abroad. Now, there is a study and coordination of projects for Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Krasnoyarsk, Samara, Moscow, Ankara (Turkey), Druskininkai (Lithuania), Dublin (Ireland), South Australia.
The basis of all considered projects is an innovative transportation technology that is displayed today under the brand SkyWay, previously known as the string transport. The author and General designer of SkyWay technologies is the Russian scientist A.Yunitskiy, who devoted more than 40 years to the development of the technology.
At present, operating models and prototypes of urban transport have been tested in EcoTechnoPark "Mariyna Gorka" near Minsk. All the necessary technical documentation was prepared and the construction of demonstration and test sections of all types of transport infrastructure started. In summer 2016, a lightweight sport-touring version of the system will be demonstrated, and then the urban passenger and freight versions with speed up to 100 km/h. Next, we will begin testing high-speed passenger systems at speeds exceeding 500 km/h.
All the developed, demonstrated and tested models, prototypes and operating samples are unique, innovative, unparalleled in the world.
As the experience of negotiations with representatives of administrations of districts and cities show, the most popular and quickly sold is the lightweight sport-tourist system SkyPark. The implementation of the project in a modern metropolis allows to create a new niche of leisure with a high payback. Moreover, the construction and operation of leisure "second level" system above the ground is not burdensome to existing urban infrastructure and do not require additional land acquisition. In addition, the SkyPark is not only highly profitable business, but it also demonstrates the advantages of SkyWay transport of the "second level" in urban conditions.
SkyWay is a real alternative to the modern metro and a good addition to the existing infrastructure of urban passenger transport.
In Chelyabinsk the management company "Transnet Group" offers to the city administration to build 1−1.5 km lightweight sport-tourist track as a demonstration of the SkyWay technology on the agreed route in one of Chelyabinsk parks. In coordination with the Chelyabinsk city authorities, the project will be implemented at the expense of funds of the management company "Transnet Group".
